On Wednesday, 1st February we marked St.Brigid’s Day in school. Radha and Layla, from Ms. O’Callaghan’s class went around to all of the classes to show them a St.Brigid’s cross and tell the children about Brigid, how she built her church and how she loved to help the poor and sick. Mrs.Manning’s class wrote some excellent stories too. With the weather finally getting a little warmer, there was finally a lovely feeling that spring is in the air!
