We had two lovely assemblies today, one for the infants and one for the 1st and 2nd classes, to mark May, the month when we remember Mary.
Children from every class read beautiful prayers and Ms.Lavin spoke to all the children about how special Mary was. The 2nd class children, who are very busy preparing for their First Holy Communion next week, said Mary’s prayer, as Gaeilge and they gave a beautiful rendition of Queen of the May. It was a gorgeous end to another busy week in school.
