October fun 🎃👻
A busy few weeks in senior infants !
The children really enjoyed lots of fun activities to mark Maths Week last week. They especially loved playing their games on Friday.
We had a beautiful walk around Paddy’s hill on a warm sunny day at the end of September. The seasons have really changed since then with lots of the boys and girls now enjoying the harvest fruits and the fallen leaves.
The children in Rm 16 really enjoyed reading with their buddies from PCS each week. Our students and the Transition Years gained so much from their 4 week block. It was delightful to see their confidence grow and their shared reading experiences.
We made scary bats and mixed potions in our Witch’s Den. We learned 2 Halloween songs “ Five batty bats” and “There was an Old Witch” to share with the school at our whole school assembly.
Happy Halloween to you all 🎃 👻
