World Book Day!
Thursday March 3rd, we celebrated World Book Day in school. The theme this year was “You are a Reader!”. Ms. Natin and Ms. O’Mahony organised lovely fun activities for the children to complete throughout the week- creating book characters, designing book covers and our usual DEAR time was practised all week. To top off the week, a special guest, Mr.Read came in to read stories to the children in the library. It was great to have Mr.Read back in the school and judging by the volume of laughter coming from the library, the children really enjoyed it.
